| Background: | Bid No. 11/12-01; Custodial Supplies was awarded to the following vendors at the June 12, 2012 Board of Education meeting:
P&R Paper Supply
Unisource International
Waxie Sanitary Supply
The terms and conditions of the bid state the awarded pricing is valid for an initial calendar year from the date of award and provides the option to renew up to two (2) one-year terms upon mutual consent of the District and the awarded vendor(s). Price increases may be negotiated but may never exceed five percent (5%) in any contract year.
P&R Paper Supply and Unisource International have agreed to a one-year renewal through June 30, 2014 with no changes to the terms or pricing of the original award. Waxie Sanitary Supply has submitted a request for price increases on select items in excess of the five percent (5%) restriction. These items are being negotiated and will be presented at a later Board meeting once pricing has been finalized.
