| Background: | At the June 12, 2012 Board of Education meeting, Waxie Sanitary Supply was one of the awarded vendors for Bid No. 11/12-01; Custodial Supplies.
The terms and conditions of the bid state the awarded pricing is valid for an initial calendar year from the date of award and provides the option to renew up to two (2) one-year terms upon mutual consent of the District and the awarded vendor(s). Price increases may be negotiated but may never exceed five percent (5%) in any contract year.
Waxie Sanitary Supply has agreed to a one-year renewal through June 30, 2014 and submitted a request for price increases on selected items detailed in the following attachment which fall within the five percent (5%) restriction. All other terms and conditions of the award remain the same.
