| Background: | Recruiting and hiring the most qualified teachers is critical for student achievement, and stands as a major goal of the Strategic Plan. TeacherMatch is a research-based analytic tool that definitively measures an applicant’s responses to an Educator’s Professional Inventory (EPI). The EPI will allow staff to measure and assess an applicant’s experience/qualifications; general cognitive ability; teaching skill; and attitudinal factors with far more precision and objectivity than we can now.
TeacherMatch can be easily integrated with EdJoin, our recruiting portal. Completing the EPI will become a standard requirement of the application process for certificated vacancies. |
