| Background: | Attached is the General Child Care Contract No. CCTR-3271
Amendment 01 between the California Department of Education and the Santa
Barbara Unified School District Child Development Program. The Department of Education has increased the
Maximum Reimbursable Amount (MRA) payable pursuant to the provisions of the
agreement from $903,793.00 to $926,237.00.
The contract funds are primarily used for certificated and
classified salaries for each classroom.
The remainder of the contract pays for instructional materials, meal
plan, professional development, business operations and custodian support and
supplies.
