Background:

In accordance with the collective bargaining statutes under which the District negotiates with employees, the SBTA intends to bring forth a proposal to bargain terms and conditions for the 2013-14 school year. Pursuant to Article XVI, Term and Effect of Agreement, each party agrees to re-open salary, employees benefits and two other items for the 2013-14 school year. The articles to be negotiated are as follows:

The Santa Barbara Unified School District is required to memorialize our proposal twice at public meetings.
