As part of the Measure Q 2010 projects for Marcos High School, the replacement of the gym roof was approved and is nearing completion. During the roof replacement project it was noted that the bottom of the structural arches on the parking lot side of the gym have deteriorated to the point that one of the arches required immediate attention and a temporary stabilization is being accomplished as a change order to the roofing project.

 

This assignment is for the design of the permanent structural repair to the 10 arches and would be an addition to the expected project list for Measure Q 2010 bond funds. The district will apply for facilities hardship funds from the state as this is project should qualify based on the required structural repair.
