The Board of Education is required to take action on petitions for readmission of students who have completed their term of expulsion. The Board shall consider this petition for readmission in closed session if information would be disclosed in violation of Education Code 49073-49079. If a written request for open session is recieved for the parent/guardian or adult student, it shall be honored.
