Background:

As advised by legal counsel, the Measure H2008 Parcel Tax Citizens’ Oversight Committee will continue to meet until such time as all Measure H2008 funds are either allocated or fully spent.  Four of the seven members of the committee are nearing the end of their respective terms. The four members whose terms are being extended are:

  • Karen Anderson (parent/PTA representative)
  • Karen Kerns (parent/PTA representative)
  • Douglas Martin (business representative)
  • Jean Reiche (senior citizens group representative)
  • Carola Nicholson (taxpayer association representative)
Recommendation:That the board extend the Measure H2008 Parcel Tax Citizens' Oversight Committee member terms
