Background:
The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) who provides services to students at McKinley has been on maternity leave since early December. The position was flown through Human Resources, and no qualified candidate was found.
All Source Recruiting Group, dba Ardor Health Solutions, is an outsourcing agency which provides certified Speech and Language Therapist personnel, on a temporary basis, to cover absences for SLP staff.
Plan:
The contract with Ardor Health Solutions will allow the Special Education Department to continue to provide students with speech and language services, as indicated by their Individualized Education Plan (IEP), by certified temporary personnel, during approved absences by District SLP's. The contract extends for ten (10) months for an amount not to exceed $20,000. The hourly rate for the outsourced temporary personnel is $72.00 per hour.
