On November 2, 2010, voters in the Santa Barbara Secondary School District passed general obligation bond (GO) Measure Q2010. The purpose of the bond is to modernize, renovate, install, update, replace and repair facilities, infrastructures and grounds at the various junior and high schools within the Santa Barbara Unified School District (SBUSD).
The board established the Santa Barbara Secondary/High School District Measure Q2010 Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee’s (BOC) in January 2011. The purpose of the committee is to monitor GO Measure Q fund expenditures and make sure they are spent properly.
Mark Ingalls and Francine Graves were appointed to the Measure Q2010 BOC in September of 2011. Measure Q2010 BOC bylaws require that committee members submit their resignation in writing and that such recognition is acknowledged. Regrettably, Mr. Ingalls and Ms. Graves have resigned from the BOC. Their official resignations are attached for the board’s review.
The SBUSD thanks Mr. Ingalls and Ms. Graves for their willingness to volunteer their time. Their service has been a valuable asset to the SBUSD.
