The District employes two people to arrange for substitute teachers, one in a regular classified position, 3.5 hours per day, and the second on an hourly basis. In addition, site clerical staff also arrange for substitutes.
The current manual process is cumbersome and inefficient, and produces duplication of effort and overlapping calls to the substitute pool. Moving to Aesop will automate the process, saving money and time, and provide site staff and administrators improved control over the substitute process.
