Background:
Use of AB-825 funds require annual board approval of a library master plan. Attached is the Santa Barbara Unified School District Library Master Plan for secondary schools.  
 
Library Master Plan:
1.     Describe the present condition of the library programs, including vision and goals
2.     Evaluate the programs in comparison to the Standards and Guidelines for Strong School Libraries recommended by the California School Library Association
3.     Endorse the National Literacy Standards
4.     Present strengths and ongoing challenges and proposes solutions to these changes
