On April 09, staff presented to the board the need to move its financial system from Quintessential School Systems to Tyler Technologies’ Munis financial system.

If approved, the implementation of the Munis financial system would take effect in 2013-2014.

 

In an effort to plan conservatively, the projected cost to implement the new financial system was included in the second interim budget for fiscal year 2012-13. Actual implementation expenditures will not be made until 2013-14 s the amount budgeted in 2012-13 will roll into fund balance at June 30, 2013 and will be included in the adopted budget for 2013-14.
