On May 8, 2012 the Board awarded a construction contract in the amount of $2,605,558 to Schock Contracting Corp. for the subject project. This project is funded from a loan guaranteed by the Foundation, a State CTE Grant and Developer fees.
On July 10, 2012 the Board approved the architectural assignment for the roof replacement for the Nopal Street building. As outlined in the attached August 17, 2012 Board Brief, it was recommended that the roof replacement at the Nopal Street building be done as a change order to the existing CTE construction contract.
On November 13, 2012 the board approved change order Number 2 for re-roofing of the Nopal Street Building with Measure Q bond funds and this change order is for discovery items that required attention during the repair and was expected as indicated in the original background information provided in the agenda item.
