Agenda Title:Approval of Fundraising Activity for Phase I of the Dos Pueblos High School Stadium Master Plan and Reservation of Measure Q Bond Funds for Matching Contribution
Background:On May 14, 2013 the Dos Pueblos High School Chargers Associates presented a master plan for stadium improvements with phasing as follows.

Phase I – field and track
Phase II – press box
Phase III – visitor’s restroom and concession stand
Phase IV – new entrance plaza, meeting rooms and flex space
Phase V – additional storage, multipurpose space

The Chargers Associates are asking for a reservation of $625,000 for a 50% match for phase 1 of the project, which will resurface the all weather track and replace the turf with the same systems and products that were installed at San Marcos High School.  The reservation of funds is requested for use in their fundraising activities.  The Charger Associates will present their fundraising plan for approval.  Schematic drawings are attached for your reference.  It is anticipated that this will be a summer 2014 construction project.  It is understood that all board policies and administrative regulations will apply and be followed concerning matching funds for construction projects.
