Background:

On May 14, 2013 the Board approved priority List 2 for the Remainder of the Measure Q 2010 bond funds and confirmed projects on Priority List 1 for funds on hand.  This project is scheduled to be funded from funds on hand and includes demolition of the paving, re-grading, gutters, mow strips and repaving the north east playground and seal coating the staff parking lot.

Granite Construction Company has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price of $625,200 for this project.  The construction budget for this project is $736,076 and the updated engineers estimate for this project is $734,950.

Recommendation:

That the Board Approve Resolution 2012/2013-57 Authorizing Lease-leaseback Process, Adopting Plans and Specifications, and Authorizing Execution and Delivery of Site Lease and Facilities Lease and Other Acts Relating to the Santa Barbara Junior High School Paving and Site Drainage Phase I Project.
