| Background: | Immediately following the November 2016 national election, many students and staff in our school community experienced a period of apprehension because of serious concerns regarding the status of undocumented students. With this resolution, Santa Barbara Unified School District joins many other school districts in the state and nation in allaying the fears of undocumented students. |
| Recommendation: | The Board of Education is asked to review and adopt Resolution No. 2016/2017-22 in Support of our Students. |
