| Background: | Santa Barbara Unified currently contracts with Jive for hosted VoIP services. Nextiva was chosen after an evaluation of three different companies. Nextiva's contract allows the for an extended trial of three months. If the trial goes well, all district phones will be moved to Nextiva's VoIP platform. |
