As part of the school safety program, staff wishes to implement The Standard Response Protocol (SRP). The SRP offers guidance on incorporating this protocol into a school safety plan for critical incident responses with individual schools in a school district. It is a classroom response enhancement for critical incidents, designed to provide consistent, clear, shared language and actions among all student, staff, and first responders.
Staff is submitting memorandums of understanding with 8 agencies: American Medical Response (AMR), Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management (SBC-OEM); Santa Barbara County Fire Department (SBCFD); Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office (SBSO); California Highway Patrol (CHP); Santa Barbara City Fire Department (SBFD); Santa Barbara City Police Department (SBPD); and the "I Love U Guys' Foundation (The Foundation).
