We have been using A2A to generate truancy and chronic absenteeism letters, and to schedule attendance conferences with families, for the past couple of years. This contract represents a renewal of existing terms, with additional language around protecting student data privacy. We originally purchased A2A on a January-to-December annual cycle, and wanted to switch to a July-June annual cycle, in order to align with our fiscal year. This agreement is therefore for half of the normal annual amount in order to cover the period January 2019-June 2019.

This contract would have normally come to the Board prior to January 2019, except for a delay with the vendor in preparing the final contract.
