Background:	Santa Barbara Unified School District’s Measure Q and R 2010 and Measures I and J 2016 Citizens’ Oversight Committee (CBOC) Bylaws state: “…. The Board may remove any Committee member for any reason, including failure to attend two consecutive Committee meetings without reasonable excuse or for failure to comply with the Committee Ethics Policy. Upon a member’s removal, his or her seat shall be declared vacant. The Board, in accordance with the established appointment process shall fill any vacancies on the Committee. The Board shall seek to fill vacancies within 90 days of the date of occurrence of a vacancy. …” The Committee wishes to remove - Mr. Greg Levin - as a CBOC member. Mr. Levin joined the CBOC in December of 2016, and finished his first term of two years in March of 2019.
Recommendation:	Accept Mr. Levin’s removal.
