Background:

On November 13, 2018 the Board approved an agreement for design services with Flowers and Associates, Inc. for the subject project.

On February 10, 2019 the district issued a Request for Qualifications/Proposals (RFQ/P) for a Lease-Leaseback Contractor for the subject project. The submittals were due on March 11, 2019 and there were two responders. Staff reviewed the responses and selected Shaw Contracting, Inc. as the best value contractor in accordance with Education Code section 17406.  Shaw Contracting, Inc. has accomplished many projects for the district and the district is pleased with their past services. 

Following contractor approval by the Board, staff will return with the following documents for approval:

General Conditions for LLB Contracts

Recommendation:That the Board approves Shaw Contracting, Inc. as the Lease-leaseback Contractor for the Adams Elementary School Playground Pavement Renovation Project
