On July 25, 2017 the Board awarded a construction contract in the amount of $28,764,392 to AMG & Associates for the subject project.
On March 12, 2019 the Board heard a report updating the status of the project which mentioned that a change order with costs associated with discovery items in the field, and a time extension for completion of the project due to rain delays and construction challenges would be presented for approval at this meeting. The report also identified the need to hold graduation at the Santa Barbara Bowl again this year, a cost that will be covered by the project contingency budget.
The project has a current change order contingency budget of $866,140. The attached spreadsheet shows the impact of this change order and the cost of renting the Santa Barbara Bowl on the project change order contingency budget.
