Public Contract Code 20111 requires competitive bidding for purchases of materials, supplies, equipment or services in excess of $92,600. Additionally, Public Contract Code 20118.2 allows a school district to consider, in addition to price, other factors in the award of contracts for the procurement of technology, telecommunications, related equipment, software, and services.

The district has solicited Request for Proposal #P18/19-03; Managed Network Services to support the district's wide area network infrastructure. Four proposals were issued and one was received by the scheduled deadline. The proposal from Lanspeed was reviewed by both the Purchasing department and Educational Technology Services department for responsiveness to the RFP requirements as reflected in the attached decision matrix.
